In this increasingly difficult job market you need to show you can stand out from the crowd and a summer internship is the ultimate way to demonstrate this. An internship over summer shows future employers that you are to be taken seriously and you are the real deal.

If you are already in Australia or New Zealand you may like to stay where you are, or you may prefer to travel to a new location around the country.

If you are in New Zealand you have the option to travel to NSW or NT in Australia and gain overseas experience, as quarantine is no longer required (note based on current border rules you are required to pay $3000 quarantine when you return to NZ).

When you join our summer internship program you can choose a position from our vacancies or you can ask us to find you a tailor-made internship. We can also support you with homestay and student accommodation in your new city.

Internships can be as short as 4 weeks, or last the whole summer, it’s up to you. We recommend that you start the internship by November 23^rd, or alternatively start the internship on the 11^th of January 2021 after the summer holiday.

Most companies take a summer holiday break from December 23^rd until January 10^th and you can usually choose if you want to work through, or if you prefer to take this time off. Events, Tourism and Hospitality companies are an exception.

Summer internships are available in Business, Design, Education, International Trade, Tourism, Marketing, Sports and many other fields. If you are interested in School Holiday programs teaching children sports and culture, we also have several programs available starting in early January.

Summer Internship placements are currently 35% off due to Covid-19 and you can secure an internship for as low as $595 while borders are closed to our international interns.
