Many hotel/hostel/campground employers offer discounted food and beverages, which can help you save your money for travelling! Some hotels and campgrounds also allow staff full use of facilities such as tennis courts and swimming pools.

Our long-term accommodation options will cost up to NZ$300 per week, including power, water, and gas. Some staff accommodation options (provided by your employer) may offer discounts on accommodation.

How long is my placement?

You must commit to the full season (summer is typically Sep/Oct – Apr/May). As we work with over 50 partners, some start dates and end dates may differ slightly. If these dates are not possible for you, please let us know and we’ll check for alternative openings.

How much do I earn and what are my hours of work?

Your wages will be at least minimum wage, which is approximately NZ$20 before tax. Your hours of work will depend on your employer, but you’re likely to work between 20-40 hours per week, for the entire summer season (October-April).
