There is no cost to submit your application and the process is easy. Firstly, read the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, then complete the 2 step application form. You will then be sent a link by email to upload additional documents that we need to make your placement. When we have the documents a placement supervisor will email you to arrange a Zoom Interview if required.

INTERNeX Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions are part of the agreement between you the participant (‘you’ or ‘your’) and Overseas Work Experience Limited (‘we’ or ‘us’) operating under INTERNeX World (hereafter referred to as INTERNeX). These terms and conditions concern the usage of all services provided by INTERNeX including the usage of our website. You hereby agree that you have read and understood what is explained above and mentioned below. You acknowledge that accepting these Terms and Conditions by ticking the box below forms a part of the application process discussed below.
1. Application Requirements
1.1 In order to apply for a placement with us, you must be, for the duration of the placement :
a. between the ages of 18 and 30 for any placement requiring a work visa and be able to obtain a valid visa for the duration of the placement; or
b. between the ages 18 and 45 for any other placement.
1.2 Placement means your internship, work or volunteer placement.
1.3 You must apply to INTERNeX using the online application form at www.internex.co.nz/apply or with any previous fillable, digital sign documents issued by INTERNeX (Application). Hand-written applications will not be accepted.
1.4 Your Application may be submitted online or by an INTERNeX agent or University partner approved by INTERNeX (Approved Agent). Any such Approved Agent is deemed to be an agent of yours.
1.5 In addition to the information required under the Application you are required to submit:
a. A Copy of the picture page of a valid passport for international travel with at least 18 months validity;
b. A current CV in English;
c. Letter of Motivation in English;
d. Employer references (translated into English if required by us);
e. An up to date criminal background check;
f. 3 photos (1 casual, 1 passport, 1 in appropriate environment pertaining to our placement; e.g. with animals, at work); and
g. any other documents as requested in the Application and/or the application process at our discretion.
1.6 When submitting the Application, you agree that your personal information as contained in the Application can be held by INTERNeX and shared with third parties in order to consider your Application and to provide you the services.
1.7 When submitting the Application, you agree to pay the non-refundable application fee (Application Fee) and the consultation fee (Consultation Fee).
2. Consideration of Application
2.1 Once we have received your Application in accordance with clause 1 above, we will invite you for an online consultation (this may be via zoom, skype or telephone).
2.2 The purpose of the consultation is:
a. for the placement supervisor to consider your Application (i.e. the placement supervisor will likely ask you questions about your experience and motivations and your qualifications); and
b. to provide you with opportunity to ask any questions that you may have.
2.3 Following the consultation, the placement supervisor will make a decision whether to accept or deny your Application and will notify you of the decision within a reasonable time period.
2.4 A decision as to whether your Application is accepted is at the complete discretion of the placement supervisor and INTERNeX.
2.5 INTERNeX is not required to provide you with any information in relation to the decision made under clause 2.3.
3. If your Application is accepted
3.1 If your Application is accepted as per clause 2, we will begin the process of consulting with potential host organisations and families (Placement Providers) to attempt to secure a placement for you.
3.2 Placement Providers may wish to interview you. It is your responsibility to make yourself available for any such interview.
3.3 Placement Providers may at their discretion require further information from you. It is your responsibly to make such information available to the Placement Provider.
3.4 We reserve the right to cancel the search for a placement at any time and pay you the refund according to our refund conditions.
3.5 If we are successful in securing a placement for you will receive:
a. an INTERNeX Letter of Confirmation which will set out the details of the placement and the full placement fees (Placement Offer) .
b. A confirmation of the placement from the Placement Provider setting out any additional information pertaining to your placement.
3.6 If you accept the Placement Offer you must pay to INTERNeX the full placement fee in advance for the full period of the placement (Placement Fee).
3.7 The Placement Fee is payable within 4 weeks of receiving the Letter of Confirmation and invoice, and no later than 4 weeks before the start of your placement.
3.8 After the payment of the placement fee has been received by INTERNeX you will receive a certificate of enrolment confirming the details of your placement.
3.9 If the Placement Offer is not accepted, adjusted or declined by you within six (6) weeks of the Placement Offer date, the Placement Offer will lapse and a new application will need to be submitted. You will not be entitled to a refund of the Placement Fee if this time period passed.
3.10 We aim to ensure placement opportunities are offered within 4 weeks of the proposed start date, or as agreed in alternative correspondence, if payment has been received in full. On occasion placement opportunities may be delayed and no refund is provided in these circumstances.
4. Scope of Service
4.1 While we do our utmost to only work with the best Placement Providers, we have no control or responsibility for these services nor do we make or give any warranty or representation regarding the Placement Provider(s) or their services.
4.2 We do not accept any liability of whatever nature, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of Placement Providers over whom we have no direct control. Under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the fees paid by you for the placement.
5. Placement Opportunities
5.2 Placements may be either full or part-time; exact hours vary depending on the individual placement opportunity.
5.1 Specific conditions of Placement cannot be guaranteed in advance.
5.2 Participants must follow host policies, procedures and practices and behave responsibly at all times.
5.3 In some situations, delays with the start date or the timing of certain aspects of a Placement may occur. Such delays may incur costs to which you are responsible.
5.4 Any transgression of our policies, procedures, or practices may result in the immediate termination of your Placement.
5.5 You must conduct yourself in a professional a manner whilst participating in any Placement provided by us. We reserves the right to terminate the Placement where in our opinion, or in the opinion of our servant, agent, client or employee, you are exhibiting behavior that is likely to cause or is causing disruption, danger or any other injurious interference, including damage to property. If such termination arises, you must vacate the Placement. Our liability to will cease upon termination and we will have no further obligation to you.
6. Ongoing Support
6.1 Notwithstanding clause 4 above, we will take reasonable steps to support you during your placement and in your interaction with the Placement Provider. This support is provided at the discretion of INTERNeX and no component of your fee is allocated towards this part our services.
6.2 If you experience ongoing issues with your Placement and/or your Placement Provider we may at our complete discretion support you in arranging alternative opportunities.
7. Risk and Insurance
7.1 If you are travelling to New Zealand for your program, medical and travel insurance are required by law. You must take out a comprehensive insurance policy to protect yourself from risks associated with travelling.
7.2 You must be satisfied that the insurance is sufficient to cover risks, including health care, personal property, travel protection etc. It is essential that you understand the insurance policy and that you are aware of the inclusions and exclusions.
7.3 INTERNeX will not be liable for any loss or damage that you incur in the event that the insurance does not provide any or satisfactory cover.
7.4 We are happy to arrange insurance for you. You acknowledges and accepts that INTERNeX will not provide a refund for any insurance product purchased on your behalf.
7.5 You understand and accept that there are risks associated with traveling to and temporarily residing in a foreign country. Such travel involves foreseen and unforeseen risks that are inherently dangerous, all of which are accepted and assumed by you. INTERNeX directors, employees, managers, shareholders, host organisations, host families, service providers, stakeholders or partners are not liable for any loss that you may suffer.
8. Limitation of liability & Indemnity
8.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, INTERNeX’s total liability arising out of or in connection with its performance of its obligations pursuant to these terms and condition, or arising out of or in connection with the supply of specific services including pursuant to or for breach of these terms and conditions or repudiation thereof, under statute, in equity or for tort, including negligent acts or omissions) is limited as follows:
(a) INTERNeX’s shall have no liability to you for any consequential loss (Consequential Loss means loss of expected savings, loss of use, loss of opportunity, loss of profit, loss of revenue, increased financing costs, loss arising from delay, or any consequential, special or indirect loss or damage, whether or not the possibility or potential extent of the loss or damage was known or foreseeable, and whether arising from a claim under indemnity, contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise); and
(b) INTERNeX’s total aggregate liability for Loss (Loss means any expense, cost or damage of any kind and includes Consequential Loss and a fine or penalty imposed by a statutory or other authority;), however arising, shall not exceed the GST exclusive fees paid by you.
8.2 Each party must take reasonable steps to mitigate any Loss it suffers or incurs.
8.3 You unconditionally agree to fully indemnify INTERNeX and all its servants, agents, clients and employees against any injury, damage or accident that may be sustained by you, whilst participating in the placement and/or associated activities booked through INTERNeX.
9. Immigration
9.1 It is your responsibility to ensure that you are allowed to be in New Zealand under the Immigration Act 2009 to undertake your program.
10. Travel and Documentation
10.1 We do not arrange any flights to New Zealand and these are entirely your responsibility and at your own cost. If you are travelling to New Zealand for one of our program you must inform us at least 14 days prior to arrival with complete flight details from your travel agent or airline. Without these we cannot make any service bookings on your behalf if these have been booked. No refunds for missing services are possible if we have not received your flight arrival details.
10.2 You are responsible to carry all required documentation to enter the country as specified by Immigration New Zealand

11. Versions
11.1 The definitive version of these condition is located on our website https://internexworld.co.nz/index.php/apply
11.2 You accept that any translations of our terms and conditions are provided for convenience only. Where there is a different meaning in interpretation of translation, the most recent English language version shall apply
12. Force Majeure
12.1 INTERNeX has no liability for any lack of performance, unavailability or failure of the services or its website, or for any failure of INTERNeX to comply with these terms and conditions, where the same arises from any cause reasonably beyond the control of INTERNeX
13 Governing Law
These terms and conditions and the services provided are governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
14 Enforceability
If any of the terms and conditions are found to be void, voidable or unenforceable, then that part of these terms and conditions shall be severed from, and will not affect or derogate from, the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions of, these terms and conditions.
15 No amendments
No amendment or variation of these terms and conditions is valid or binding on a party unless made in writing and executed by the parties.

You consent to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy, which may change from time to time.

Overseas Work Experience Limited (‘we’ or ‘us’) operating under INTERNeX World (we, us or our) is committed to protecting all personal information you provide us in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1993 (the Act).
Collection of Personal Information
We may collect your personal information, including but not limited to your:
• Name;
• Gender;
• Date of birth;
• Contact information;
• Any other information requested from you during the application process as set out in our Terms and Conditions and/or website.
If you choose not to provide information when we ask for it, you may not be able to use the website and/or or our services.
The Use of Your Personal Information
The collection of your personal information is used to:
• Process your application;
• Assess your viability for placements;
• Promote our website and service offerings to you;
• Support and improve the website and service we offer;
• Provide customer support;
• Communicate with you, your agents, employees or representatives about your placement;
• Bill and collect money owed to us;
• Pursue available legal remedies to us;
• Meet legal requirements;
• Enhance our service offerings to you; and
• Send you error and other notifications about the service, the Terms and Conditions, this Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Nor do we sell the personal information of third parties that you provide to us.
Personal information will be retained only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which the information was collected (including any time that we are required by law to retain such information).
We use third party payment processors (“Payment Processors”) including for example Transferwise, PayPal and others. We do not keep or have access to all the information you provide to the Payment Processors including, for example, your full credit card number. However, we will have the ability to bill your payment method and access to certain personal information you provide the Payment Processors, such as the name on your credit card, the address associated with the card and the credit card expiration date. You agree that even though the Payment Processor’s electronic forms may be hosted on our Website or Service, your legal relationship with the Payment Processor is separate and that the Payment Processor may impose their own terms and have their own privacy policy in place for the collection and use of your information.
The Disclosure of Your Personal Information and Access to It
We may provide your personal information to our related companies, payment processing organisations and any other parties we consider necessary in relation to providing you services you purchase from us, to recover any money you owe to us and to exercise any rights we may have against you.
