Professional Internships
Professional internships are an excellent way to gain industry-specific experience, improve your resume and ensure you stand out from other job seekers when you enter the labour market.
We provide placement opportunities in Australia, Canada and New Zealand from as few as 4 weeks to a maximum of 52 weeks (depending on visas and University requirements) . Placements may be part time (18 – 20 hours per week) or full time (35 – 40 hours per week) as requested / required.
In some locations, due to visa and labour regulations placements may only be possible with Charities, NGO’s or not for profits and there may be limits on the number of hours you can intern per week.
All internships are unpaid to ensure our local placement supervisor can secure you the best possible opportunity. If you have a working holiday visa you can take a part time internship and work part time to help finance your stay.
All placements are made in accordance with any University requirements and acceptance is only guaranteed after speaking with an Internex placement supervisor.

“We have so much to do for the whole day. It is so nice to be here at the school taking my internship. The first two weeks in the Museum were also great! I’m so enthusiastic that I never want to go home”
